We are all in the final part of summer and soaking up as much as we can before school begins. I love summer and everything it represents: warm weather, casual attitude & playtime with friends. Enjoy these final days of August before the mad dash for school begins. Thanks for all the support at our two shops and for shopping online. We are making changes to the online site to bring our shops to you if you don’t live in Virginia or Nantucket. Check back often.
While these are temporary tattoos, they are fun and making their mark all over. We have big and small kids wanting them and we are thrilled our turtle logo is a hit. tB mania is catching on ~
Our tB swimsuits are a big hit with kids and adults. The colors, the fabric and the turtle make these fun for everyone. Here are couple photos taken recently of some great surfers teaching little surfers to enjoy the waves.

We are taking Nantucket by storm and loving our first season on the island. This is a special place and we are excited to be a part of it.
We are proud to say our tB board shorts are a hit with the Nantucket Surfers and we couldn’t have better representation of our swimwear.
If you lucky enough to get to Nantucket, be sure to take a lesson with one of the guys (nantucket surf school) — they’ll have you surfing in no time and you’ll have a great day!
We love the 4th of July! In fact, we love red, white and blue all year long. They are great staple colors and we like them striped, solid and mixed together.

These four friends are all showing off the latest Stacia tops we carry in both shops. Stacia is the best summer staple because it’s made of bamboo so it’s incredibly soft but the pieces are fun, bright and versatile. The cardi coat is ideal for a summer where you often need layers depending on the changing weather.
This line works well for cute teens like these girls or for moms or even the grandmoms. Stop by one of the shops or contact us if you are interested in any of these stacia tops. They are as softer than you think and you’ll love them!
We have new boy swim trunks but they are selling so fast we can’t even get them to the website! Here’s a shot of our orange pair on ’sconset beach in Nantucket. They are classic, comfortable and great for going from beach to play without missing a beat.
We always seem to make more options for girls but we can’t forget the boys ~ these are swim trunks we think boys of all ages will like. We even make navy with a white stripe for the big boys (aka dads).
Email us (cs@tottieBEAN.com) to order from our shops and we’ll ship out to you. We have red, aqua, hawaiian, navy and orange but again, the supplies are low so we can’t guarantee it until you purchase. We are thrilled that these new swimsuits are such a hit!
It’s great to be back on Nantucket. Our tottieBEAN shop is open and it’s quickly becoming a place known for it’s casual, comfortable and affordable items on the island.
But being here at the beginning of summer with all of the rush and excitement to get ready for the onslaught of tourists is so fun. We are finding new, private beaches and riding bikes and winding down from the school year.
With the opening of the two shops (Nantucket and Great Falls, VA) we have expanded to include more lines that complement our attitude of a classic, everyday look that is not expensive. We carry our own line of clothes but also great clothes from California, such as American Vintage, Stacia, Alternative Earth, Bobi and then also some cool accessories for everyday life, including rumba time watches and Scout bags.

We are excited to announce that tottieBEAN will have a shop on Nantucket beginning April 1, 2010. There is something very special about the island of Nantucket for us and we can’t wait for the islanders and visitors alike to visit our cute shop on Washington Street.
tottieBEAN is off to a great start with the holiday season! Our yoga pants and hooded t’s as well as the boy fleece hoodies are selling quickly. We have had to re-order twice already!
