We are excited to announce that tottieBEAN will have a shop on Nantucket beginning April 1, 2010. There is something very special about the island of Nantucket for us and we can’t wait for the islanders and visitors alike to visit our cute shop on Washington Street.
tottieBEAN is off to a great start with the holiday season! Our yoga pants and hooded t’s as well as the boy fleece hoodies are selling quickly. We have had to re-order twice already!

The mornings are getting colder as kids head off to school. The new tottieBEAN hoodie for boys is the perfect weight. The boys like the look and they actually will wear it — no need to nag them to grab a coat on their way out the door.

Happy last weekend of summer! The swimsuit season is coming to an end but we have been busy picking next summer’s styles. We are excited to soon share with you our new colors for next season.
One of our little beaners loves to wear our tB ruffle swimsuit so much that her mom had to write and tell us she nicknamed it the “zucchini bikini.” We are thrilled when kids make tottieBEAN their own!
We like hearing all the fun stories how the kids love different tottieBEAN clothes and how it works with their active lives. It’s why we started tottieBEAN in the first place and we hope that you and your kids continue to incorporate some of the turtle items into your daily life.
August is the month most families escape to enjoy the last bit of fun before summer comes to a close and kids are back at school. And with summer almost over, that means the great swimsuit sale will come to an end, too. So get a swimsuit now while they are at their lowest ever!

During the hot summer days, polo is a fun game for kids out here in the country. Our tshirts were quick sellers in the trunk shows and we see them being worn on kids playing all sorts of sports. The number tee and the peace tee were picked up by both boys and girls alike.
In the final few weeks left of summer, we hope you are playing hard, getting dirty and enjoying your tottieBEAN gear as much as we do. We appreciate hearing from our customers and getting the photos of the kids in the tottieBEAN outifts.
The cousin bond is unique – you sort of look alike, your parents are similar and you instantly fall into a groove when you meet up again. It’s great. We wish we lived near more family so all the kids could play more together.
We luckily saw a couple this summer and we are hoping to make more trips to see others. Before the summer is finally over, we hope everyone has time to meet up with some family. Great memories are made when you are with your cousins 
One great thing about being a kid is the ability to jump right in with no hesitation, no fear and with sheer joy. That youthful energy and innocence is a great thing!
Unfortunately, as we get older we start to think twice and question possible outcomes and it hinders the “jumping in” frequency.
We started tottieBEAN with an excitement, energy and quite honestly, naivete. We are happy to say we are still excited about our big leap and have learned so much along the way. Our support from friends, family and new customers is overwhelming. We appreciate all the encouragement throughout this adventure.
Thanks for cheering us on as we took this big jump. As summer is starting to wind down we are gearing up for Fall. Each time it’s a little bit of an unknown but we keep jumping in!

Our good friend and famous designer, Wendy Pepper is creating this fantastic line of schooling breeches that are already a big hit. tottieBEAN encourages kids to be active, be outside as much as possible, and have fun.
